God’s Perfect Watch?
Posted by modavadorg on December 16, 2008
2008 is almost gone! Where did the year go? I need more time. Don’t you? I know there are a few out there that could use another 30, 60, or even 90 days. Getting some of those major things done that some how slipped through the cracks would do good about now.
Unfortunately, time waits for not man. Nor does it wait for any women either. As the beginning of a new day fades into the next week, the week slips into months, and the months into the passing of another year, goals, dreams and aspirations fades with the time. If the hands of time could just stop to bring us in reach of the things God has or us, what a perfect time that would be. I often wounded, if God could allow the hands on a clock that stand still be right twice a day, why can’t He allow me to right on time to reach a goal of my on His watch? Sometimes, I found myself asking the question, “Does God really know what time it is?”
During the past 6 months I have been blessed to hear from God first hand. By His Word I have been blessed and carried through the toughest of all times in my life. Even though the timing has been by no means perfect by my watch, the timing has been perfect on God’s watch. Why? Because I’m still here and if you’re reading this post you’re still here too. We’re on God’s time and not our own. Now that’s perfect timing no matter how you slice it. Letting go and letting God be God is a great help in trusting in His timing. A great help in resting in His hands and finding a peace like no other.
